Le Poste

Under the authority of the CEO (FinCo), the HR Manager acts as the custodian and execution lead of the HR Strategy for the FinCo. He manages alignment and integration of organization design and performance with business objectives and plans; implements workforce strategies that support business strategy; provides HR insights to business and partners to deploy solutions based on market trends that contribute to the growth and competitiveness of the business; and, oversees delivery of HR operational services with a deep focus on employee experience.

 The Manager HR & Performance Management will be accountable to achieve the following objectives:

Strategy Development and Implementation

-Abide by the Group strategy and assist in the creation of the OpCo functional strategy aligned with the overarching business goals, under direction from the CEO;

-Ensure effective implementation of the functional strategy;

-Assist in review of the OpCo functional strategy and roadmap, under direction from the CEO, to ensure its alignment with the changing dynamics of the internal and external ecosystem.

 

Staff Leadership and Management

-Source, induct and manage talent in accordance with legislative guidelines and directives from the CEO/Group;

-Continually develop a culture of strong collaboration and effective team working;

-Ensure open communication channels with staff and implement change management interventions when required, and under supervision from the CEO;

-Provide definition of roles, responsibilities, individual goals and performance objectives for the team;

- Set KPIs and provide regular performance feedback through a well-defined and implemented performance review program;

-Assist in the development and implementation of a training plan in order to build and develop skills within the team;

-Promote a ‘Fintech centric’ and ‘partnership approach’ to develop strong relationships with other working groups and ensure adherence to Group governance.

Governance

 

Strategic Meetings

-Performance manage resources in accordance with HR policy and legislation where necessary;

-Participate in strategic meetings;

-Support OpCo wide transformation initiatives. Elicit inputs from relevant parties, when required;

-Implement adequate risk mitigation and controls, with directions from the CEO and Group team;

-Perform evaluation baseline of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and KPIs;

-Manage approval process from CEO/Group on new initiatives;

-Facilitate preparation of proposal on change initiatives SLA, policies and procedures;

 

Escalations

- Escalate issues that will result in severe time, scope, productivity, and cost or resource impact to CEO / Group team;

- Manage and provide solutions to escalations that have multiple processes / functions impact on critical path of service delivery, keeping CEO apprised of the same.

 

Function Tactical

- Provide inputs, when required, and execute all projects initiated in the function;

- Assist in establishing objectives, targets and budgets for the function;

- Identify and document key risks, issues and dependencies and set mitigation actions, with guidance from the CEO;

- Prepare documentation for sign-off / making decisions regarding tactical changes; apprise CEO of changes made without approval.

Performance

- Monitor performance and alignment with divisional strategy;

- SLA approval and exception performance review.

Reporting

- Report on a bimonthly / monthly basis to the CEO relating to progress made within the function and in accordance with the measurement metrics set by the organization;

- Report on an ad hoc basis on specific projects, as required.

Budgets

- Assist in managing function’s budgets in line with business objectives, when required;

- Assist in managing project initiative budgets in line with business objectives, when required.

Operational Delivery

- Function as a primary point of contact for executive/senior management or specialty group regarding key organizational and management issues in the FinCo;

- Deliver results under the guidance of the Group HR, abiding by all the set directives and regularly reporting compliance;

- Implement governance to manage the consolidated FinCo HR strategy, budgets and financials, under direction from the FinCo CEO, and as guidelines set by group HR team;

- Implement & ensure execution of HR policies throughout the FinCo, ensuring that all functions comply with the set policies;

- Provide FinCo specific input to the Organization Design Blueprints to align with business objectives;

- Localize, implement, and manage the FinCo organization structures;

- Ensure that key objectives set for recruitment are complied with at all times;

- Manage execution of the performance management process within the FinCo and ensure managers across functions are empowered to conduct a fair and objective appraisal for their employees;

- Manage and execute Talent Management processes with FinCo;

- Undertake training needs assessment and infusion of training programs in the FinCo, also ensuring that curriculum is regularly reviewed and supports FinCo’s growth strategy;

- Ensure implementation, compliance & adherence to the EVP Framework, policies, guidelines & processes defined by Group DigiFin HR team and company Group HR team as applicable;

- Implement and manage Employee Compensation, Rewards & Recognition processes for the FinCo;

- Manage the lifecycle management of Expatriates when applicable;

- Manage end-to-end of employee and HR Service administration, all the while ensuring that local employment and labour guidelines, laws and regulations are duly complied with;

- Manage and ensure execution of the employee health and safety programs in the FinCo;

- Ensure implementation of health and safety policy, procedures and risk assessments, statutory compliance requirements ensuring action is taken to mitigate risks and all corrective and preventative action of issues arising;

- Encourage the use of HR tools and systems, in order to drive business-critical decisions through data;

- Ensure compliance and drive the global D&I agenda set by Group DigiFin and company;

- Participate in communities of practices and conferences, with permission from the CEO, to facilitate knowledge sharing and positioning of FinCo’s employer of choice brand towards the external marketplace;

- Measure the impact and benefit of the function to FinCo and in turn, Group FinCo and report the true-value metrics. Drive continuous improvement across all verticals;

- Regularly report to CEO on key HR metrics, and highlight red flags as and when required;

- Other tasks and duties, as assigned.

Managerial / Supervisory Responsibilities

- Accountable for the morale, performance, and development of the function’s human capital;

- Cascade and socialize work structure processes to enable adoption by the team;

Profil du Candidat

The ideal profile should hold a BAC+4/5 in Human Resources, Human Science, Psychology, or equivalent, be fluent in English, with 5 to 6 years of relevant experiences in the following fields: 

- HR;

- Leading HR functions or management roles;

- Telco/Fintech environment;

- Global/multinational organization with a good understanding emerging markets.
