Our client, a leading company in the sanitary ware and building materials industry, is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive profitable sales growth in West and Central Africa. He will be responsible for achieving annual sales targets, increasing market share, and expanding the company's presence in key countries such as Côte d'Ivoire, Senegal, Gambia, Liberia, Togo, Benin, Burkina Faso, and Cameroon. The main missions include planning and developing the sales strategy, monitoring key account performance, fostering brand loyalty, and managing dealers within the market. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in aligning commercial activities with company objectives and key performance indicators. All applicants are required to hold at least a Bachelor's degree in business administration and considerable experience in the sale of building materials or sanitary ware. Fluency in both spoken and written Arabic, English and French is essential, a good command of other languages would be an advantage.
An excellent communicator with a strong ability to build a sales network, commercially proactive in the building materials and projects sector, and who can demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced, highly competitive, results-oriented environment, whilst maintaining the company's quality and reputation for excellence, will be highly valued.
